Meet Luke Craggs

Tell us a little about yourself:

What’s is your current sporting status?
I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, train at Gracie Barra Harrogate, I’ve been training for 8-9 years now in total. Now I focus on coaching and being a competitive athlete.
What’s your biggest sporting accolade?
Being ranked UKBJJA No.1 Adult Black Belt 2025. Winning the British middleweight and open weight title at black belt, winning lots of super fights in different organisations this year as a black belt too.
What sports supplements products do you currently use and why?
I haven’t really ever used any until linking up with KIME+, now I mostly use protein and creatine supplements to help me recover after training and fuel weightlifting in the gym.
What are your goals for the future?
I want to go to ADCC European trials this year and also want to compete on Polaris and grapplefest this year. My long term goal is to continue competing to my highest potential and see how far I can take this!
Who is your sporting hero?
I don’t necessarily have any sporting hero, I have a lot of respect for what Lachlan Giles achieved at ADCC, being from the smallest weight class and submitting the heaviest opponents in the open weight division. Then also have a lot of respect for Eddie bravo, he revolutionised the no gi jiu jitsu game and his early EBI tournaments brought a lot of eyes to the sport in a spectator fashion.
